An ash conveying line can retain its name while its route or connections change during plant maintenance. The original ceramic lining selection may then describe a different arrangement from the one proposed for service. Before ordering replacement sections from Sanxin, review the modification against the accepted component and duty basis. A previous lining record remains useful evidence, but it should not silently qualify every altered part of the route.

Compare the current approved drawing with the previous arrangement and mark changed segments, connections and interfaces. Identify which items remain unchanged and which have new geometry or duties. A short description such as line rerouted can conceal differences relevant to both the ceramic system and the supporting pipework. The technical inquiry should show the actual proposed assembly boundary.
Record why the route is changing and which equipment reviewers are responsible for its acceptance. The liner supplier's scope should be explicit within that wider project. Avoid interpreting a wear-protection quotation as approval of the pipe system's structure, pressure boundary or operating arrangement. Those responsibilities need the appropriate evidence and acceptance from the responsible parties.
Provide the current ash characteristics, transport conditions and relevant operating sequences. Identify what is measured, what is reported and what remains uncertain. Do not automatically carry old values into the revised inquiry without checking their applicability. If the change also affects material sources or cleaning practices, preserve those differences rather than describing the project solely as a geometric replacement.
For example, a hypothetical maintenance project may retain most straight sections while changing a connection near the destination equipment. The accepted lining basis for the retained route does not eliminate the need to review that connection. The example does not establish a new wear mechanism or predict which part will wear first. It illustrates why the modified boundary requires its own documented assessment.
Describe the complete proposed lining construction at the changed locations and its transitions to retained components. Confirm the finished geometry and the supply responsibility for each interface. A nominal pipe designation cannot establish that the ceramic-lined transition is equivalent to the previous arrangement. Ask for the actual offered geometry and route differences to the equipment reviewer where required.
Keep the condition of retained pipework visible in the project record. An accepted new component does not establish the condition of adjoining old sections. If inspection or removal reveals an unexpected condition, update the modification scope through the approved process. Record how the finding was resolved before it becomes hidden by the completed connection or confused with the new supply.
During installation acceptance, connect the delivered components and approved changes to the final route drawing. Record the initial observable lining condition at identified locations and the extent of inspection. Preserve relevant earlier history for retained sections. A single project completion date should not replace the different exposure histories of new and retained parts in the route.
Send Sanxin the modification comparison, marked interfaces and current duty information when requesting a proposal. Retain the accepted lining scope with the wider route-change record. Later inspections can then compare the actual altered assembly with a documented baseline, without assuming that previous service observations establish the future life or performance of every modified component.
Review its applicability to the actual changed components, interfaces and duty. Retain useful earlier evidence, but document the revised supply boundary and obtain the equipment and lining acceptances needed for the altered arrangement.
