Ceramic Liner Detachment Before Startup: Keep Construction Events Out of Service Data

A detached piece can be found before equipment enters service, during operation or at a later removal. Those events do not have the same evidence boundary. For a Sanxin inquiry, record when the lining was accepted and what exposure occurred before the finding. A construction or handling observation should not silently become a completed operating-life result, nor should timing alone determine its cause.

Establish the sequence with actual records

Identify receipt, fitting, attachment completion, owner release and first operation where those stages apply. Keep the drawing revision and component identity with the timeline. A broad note saying installed may not establish which stage had actually been accepted.

Record when the detached or loose condition was first observed and what was visible earlier. If an interface had not been examined, do not infer that it was sound. Discovery time should remain distinct from initiation time, especially where a piece or backing was previously concealed.

Preserve the condition before assigning a category

Photograph the piece, separation surfaces and supporting region with location references where the plant procedure permits. Include adjacent condition and any work performed before the finding. Do not clean away useful interface evidence simply to make the image easier to interpret.

Separate material loss, fracture and loss of retention. A complete piece detached before startup does not provide a ceramic abrasion-life measure. It may warrant investigation of support, procedure or handling, but those remain possibilities until relevant evidence supports a conclusion.

Distinguish construction acceptance from exposure

Ask what preparation and completion records exist for the selected attachment system. Use the actual product and construction requirements rather than a generic adhesive or fastening rule. An incomplete installation stage should remain visible in the review instead of being retrospectively described as accepted service.

For a hypothetical job, suppose a panel is found loose during pre-release examination after several movements in the work area. The team should preserve that sequence and review the relevant construction and handling records. This is a diagnostic example, not a Sanxin incident or a confirmed cause.

The responsible plant process decides disposition and any further equipment review. A material inquiry can support the investigation but cannot authorize operation or close structural and machine requirements outside its scope.

Report the right result and the next decision

Send Sanxin the stage timeline, drawing, located observations and relevant procedure information. State whether the question concerns supplied condition, construction completion or an operating finding. Ask which material or assembly information could distinguish the plausible explanations. Identify the record source for each stage date, distinguishing a completed check from a planned event or later recollection. The timeline should make those evidence differences visible.

Keep accepted corrections and their new baseline with the component identity. If a trial restarts after repair, identify the revised construction and actual operating exposure. Do not combine the earlier pre-service event with later abrasion observations into one unexplained failure-rate or lifetime claim.

A precise timing record does not excuse a defect or assign responsibility automatically. It makes the evidence usable: the review can describe what happened before service, what changed after release and which examination is needed next, without substituting a generic cause list for the actual sequence.

Does detachment discovered before startup count as completed ceramic service life?

No operating-life endpoint has been established by that finding. Record construction and handling stages, preserve interface evidence and obtain the responsible disposition. Keep later service observations separate if the accepted assembly is repaired and released.
