A tile thickness value does not describe every geometric feature that controls an installed wear surface. The buyer should distinguish the dimension examined from face shape, support and assembly position. For a Sanxin inquiry, identify those requirements on the drawing. This prevents a satisfactory loose-part measurement from becoming an unsupported conclusion that the entire lined surface will have the required geometry.

Show the working face, supporting face and reference features. State which measurement represents the agreed thickness and where it applies. A dimension taken at an unspecified convenient point may not answer the functional question in the order.
If an average or nominal value is reported, keep that description explicit. It should not silently become a statement about every local position. The responsible technical parties should agree the examination method and acceptance basis instead of introducing a new limit after the parts arrive.
The intended working surface may need a defined profile, mating shape or another geometric requirement. State it directly on the controlled drawing. Do not expect a thickness label or forming-method name to establish that feature without relevant examination.
Keep dimensional conformance separate from visible damage. A piece may meet a measured dimension while an edge needs review under the agreed condition criteria. Conversely, a dimensional discrepancy should not be assigned to material quality before the reference and method are reconciled.
Show how the pieces are supported and where joints and boundaries occur. The finished surface depends on the accepted layout and construction, not only each individual piece. An unreviewed support difference can change the assembled level while all delivered tiles meet their stated dimensions.
Consider a hypothetical wall lining whose tiles pass the agreed loose thickness check, but a repaired support region differs from the drawing. The next step is to review the support and finished interface rather than declare the ceramic dimensions proof of a satisfactory assembly. This is an inspection example, not a Sanxin case or a specific repair method.
Any permitted adjustment should follow the accepted process and retain identity and the resulting checks. Do not force a piece or remove material simply to conceal an unresolved dimensional basis. The equipment owner still controls changes affecting clearances, structure or functional geometry.
Provide Sanxin with the piece and assembly drawings, critical geometry and operating description. Ask the quotation to identify the supplied material and dimensional scope. Resolve special measurement requirements before ordering, with report references tied to the actual item.
At receipt, record the checked feature and its basis. At installation, preserve the finished baseline and relevant support evidence. Later findings can then distinguish supplied geometry, fitting differences and operating change. Keep those stages connected but do not describe one as proof of all the others.
A precise thickness requirement remains useful; it simply needs its correct scope. Adding clear face and support requirements lets purchasing and maintenance teams understand why a tile is accepted, which feature still needs review and how a future replacement can reproduce the intended surface without relying on an unexplained single number.
It verifies the defined dimension within its method. The working profile, support, joints and installed level need their own relevant checks. Identify the actual feature and keep loose-part and assembly evidence separate.
