Distinguish Local Chute Accumulation From a Recorded Full Passage Blockage

A photograph of material on a ceramic-lined chute wall can show local accumulation without establishing that the entire passage was blocked. Conversely, a blockage report may concern an extent that one later photograph no longer represents. For a Sanxin inquiry involving a power-plant feed chute, preserve what was actually observed. Do not turn every deposit image into the same event category or use an unverified category to judge ceramic lining performance.

Retain the actual event description

Keep the original operating or inspection record and its stated basis. A local wall deposit, a reduced opening and a confirmed passage obstruction are not automatically interchangeable descriptions. The responsible plant process should define the event categories used for its own equipment. This article sets no universal blockage threshold or measurement rule. Where the evidence supports only a limited observation, retain that limit instead of strengthening the wording to match a summary label.

Record what the evidence can show

Identify the observed region and stage of the event. A close view may show a deposit clearly while leaving the rest of the passage outside its frame. An image obtained after intervention may not represent the earlier condition. Neither limitation makes the image useless; it defines the claim it can support. Preserve any related observations from the actual event without inventing a complete cross-section view. An alarm or transfer interruption can be relevant evidence, but its actual meaning requires the equipment and operating context.

Do not obtain further observations through an unapproved entry or intervention. The responsible plant procedures govern access and examination. This article concerns the interpretation of available records, not instructions to clear, probe or restart a chute.

Keep the lining assessment separate

A verified obstruction still does not independently identify its cause. Material condition, feed changes, route geometry and other circumstances may require investigation. Nor does a local deposit alone establish a failure of the ceramic. Retain the actual lining surface condition and any relevant operating evidence within their examined scopes. A record classification should help organize a review, rather than predetermine that wear protection created or prevented the event. Sanxin material information cannot recover an unobserved passage condition or establish the cause of a historical interruption.

Examine a hypothetical reclassified event

Imagine a hypothetical maintenance summary treating every image of adhered coal as a full chute blockage, although some originals describe only small regions of wall accumulation. Separate the supported event descriptions and retain uncertain entries as uncertain. This is a record example, not a Sanxin chute incident. Do not automatically downgrade a confirmed blockage because its later image shows only residual material. Both inflation and loss of the original event scope can distort a ceramic trial history.

Prepare a scope-defined chute inquiry

Send Sanxin the controlled chute location, relevant lining information, original event descriptions and the actual observed extents. Explain whether the question concerns lining condition, accumulated material or the documented obstruction event. Ask which supplied-item evidence could assist the review without expecting a product description to settle causation. In later summaries, preserve the plant's actual classification basis and distinguish unresolved evidence. This makes comparisons more useful while keeping a local observation from silently becoming a complete-passage claim, or an accurately recorded blockage from disappearing in a selective photograph.

Does coal visible on a chute lining prove that the full passage was blocked?

No. Retain the actual observed extent and original event evidence. Use the responsible plant's defined classification, with uncertainties visible. A deposit, restriction or confirmed blockage also needs separate investigation before its cause is attributed to the lining.
