Keep Hydrocyclone Ceramic Liner Dimensions Under Equipment Drawing Control

Hydrocyclone internal geometry belongs to the equipment design as well as the wear-part description. Inlet, vortex-finder and spigot arrangements are not interchangeable labels for a generic ceramic lining. Before requesting a Sanxin spare, connect the proposed liner dimensions to the accepted equipment drawing. A replacement should not introduce an unreviewed functional geometry change merely because the ceramic part can be assembled inside the existing equipment.

Identify the component and current accepted revision

Provide the hydrocyclone identity, component location and applicable drawing revision. Mark the liner part and the interfaces included in the inquiry. Where more than one equipment configuration exists at the site, state which one the spare must serve. A common external designation or nominal body size does not independently establish that every internal part belongs to the same accepted arrangement.

Keep the source of the dimensions visible. Distinguish the controlled design from measurements of a used part or an approximate sketch. Used components can help explain the current condition, but their observed shape should not silently replace the accepted design basis. Resolve any discrepancy with the responsible equipment reviewer before releasing a drawing for production or accepting a proposed alternative.

Review finished geometry rather than ceramic size alone

Identify the final internal dimensions relevant to the supplied scope and the arrangement they form with adjoining components. Ceramic dimensions, joints, backing and retention can all contribute to the finished assembly. Ask for the actual offered construction where that information is needed. A dimension for one loose ceramic item may not describe the functional geometry of the completed hydrocyclone region.

Equipment manufacturers offer different spigot and vortex arrangements for their equipment, illustrating why the accepted configuration must remain identified. That general observation does not transfer a manufacturer's design or performance to another product. For the actual inquiry, use the equipment owner's accepted geometry and responsible review. Do not infer a dimensional substitution from a broadly similar catalogue item.

Treat geometry changes as explicit proposals

If the supplier or site proposes a different internal shape, identify it as a change rather than a routine like-for-like spare. Record the purpose, affected interfaces and evidence requested by the equipment reviewer. Wear-material suitability is one subject; acceptance of the changed equipment geometry is another. Neither should be assumed from the other or combined into a vague ceramic-quality approval.

In a hypothetical replacement, an offered liner may fit the supporting assembly while changing a functional internal dimension. The fit observation is useful but incomplete for the equipment decision. Obtain the appropriate review before treating the part as interchangeable. This example does not prescribe hydrocyclone dimensions or predict a separation result; it defines the boundary between spare fitting and equipment design acceptance.

Carry the accepted configuration through delivery

State the accepted revision and inspection requirements in the order. During receiving, connect the delivered identity and dimensional evidence to that basis. Record approved deviations and ensure installation teams have the same configuration information. If the equipment arrangement changes after ordering, reassess the spare's applicability instead of preserving an obsolete interchangeability assumption in the stock register.

Send Sanxin the component drawing, duty and configuration references when requesting feasibility and supply information. Retain the final accepted geometry with the installed record and relevant process review. This supports a traceable wear-part order without promising separation efficiency, capacity or wear-life results from a dimensional label or material certificate alone.

Can a hydrocyclone liner be accepted because it fits the outer assembly?

Fit is only part of the evidence. Confirm the accepted internal geometry, interfaces and equipment revision, and obtain review for any change. Keep ceramic material acceptance separate from the complete equipment configuration and its process requirements.
