A powder bin lining changes the surface inside equipment that must also store and discharge material reliably. Wear protection is one objective; maintaining the required flow geometry is another. Before discussing alumina ceramic liners with Sanxin, identify where the bin wears and how the proposed lining affects its usable space and outlet details. Do not assume that a different surface automatically corrects a discharge problem.

Map worn areas at the inlet, sloping walls and outlet. Mark the normal material path and any zones where buildup has been observed. Record powder characteristics, moisture variations and changes in feeding or discharge operation. A wall polished by sliding material and a region damaged by falling lumps should not receive an identical explanation without further inspection.
Keep flow observations distinct from wear measurements. Bridging, irregular discharge and material remaining on walls can involve equipment geometry and bulk-material behavior. If these issues are present, obtain the appropriate flow assessment rather than treating ceramic installation as a sufficient remedy. A liner proposal should state which problem it addresses and which questions remain with the equipment designer.
Review the finished lined geometry, especially near transitions, gates and the discharge opening. Show liner thickness on the section drawing rather than relying on a nominal bin dimension. Check whether panel ends, joints or fasteners could create ledges or interfere with moving equipment. Fixed outlet clearances should be identified as controlled features during quotation and installation.
Ask how the lining meets retained surfaces and removable components. A local repair can leave a discontinuity if the new lining differs from the old arrangement. Agree the edge treatment and inspection access before ordering. The objective is an installable wear surface that respects the equipment's functional geometry, not merely complete coverage of a measured wall area.
Suppose a hypothetical powder bin has concentrated wear below the inlet and an established discharge pattern. The plant proposes a local ceramic lining rather than changing every wall at once. It reviews the landing load, the boundary with the existing surface and the finished clearance to the outlet. This example describes scope control and does not claim a successful Sanxin bin retrofit.
Before startup, record the installation condition and selected internal dimensions. During the evaluation, document wear condition and any change in buildup or discharge behavior separately. If powder moisture or feed method changes, include that information. Without these records, a later operating difference can be incorrectly attributed solely to the lining.
Provide Sanxin with the bin section, worn-zone map, powder description and details of gates or nearby mechanisms. Identify whether the lining is local or complete, which dimensions are fixed and how workers can inspect or replace it. Include temperature exposure and the available installation window. Ask the offered construction to explain its retention and boundary details.
Assign responsibility for confirming the revised geometry and any bulk-flow implications. Agree receiving and installation checks such as item identification, lining continuity and clearance at the outlet. Retain a baseline record for later maintenance decisions. A ceramic lining review is strongest when it protects a defined wear zone while preserving a clear process for evaluating the bin's discharge function.
Bridging needs an application-specific assessment of powder behavior, bin geometry and operation. A lining can change the contact surface but should not be accepted as a universal flow remedy. Review wear protection and discharge performance as related, separate objectives.
