Verify Ceramic Supply Quantities Against a Power-Plant Repair Map

A ceramic order quantity does not by itself show how much protection will be installed. It may include spare pieces, special shapes or materials for work outside the final repair boundary. Check the supply schedule against the accepted repair map before treating delivery as completed coverage. This is useful when a power-plant shutdown includes several local repairs or when the extent changes after old lining is removed.

Define the units used in the scope and the order

Identify whether the supply is counted by individual pieces, assembled panels, complete components or another agreed unit. Link each item to its drawing and installation zone. A broad area total can support planning but does not identify every corner, transition or closure piece. The accepted supply schedule should make these functional items visible.

For a hypothetical hopper repair, the order may contain standard tiles, special outlet pieces and a reserve for accepted site adjustments. The installation record should distinguish them. Comparing total delivered pieces with visible wall area can create an apparent shortage or surplus without explaining what each item was intended to do.

Keep retained protection outside new installation totals

Mark new, removed and retained regions on the repair map. The equipment owner should accept the condition of what remains. Retained ceramic can form part of the complete protected surface without becoming newly supplied coverage. Do not report the whole lining as new merely because a small local order completes the current repair.

If removal reveals a larger damaged region, record the revised scope and its acceptance before adjusting the supply requirement. New work can require support repairs and different boundary details. Ceramic protection should not be assumed to restore a weakened shell. A quantity change is not a substitute for engineering review of the changed construction.

Account for material use with a traceable disposition

Record where identified components are installed and distinguish unused spares, accepted adjustments and rejected or damaged pieces. Keep the units consistent with the supply schedule. A delivered item that never entered service should not appear in an installed-condition baseline. Likewise, a part removed during fitting needs a disposition rather than disappearing into an unexplained consumption total.

Review any field modification through the accepted procedure. Ceramic hardness does not make cutting or handling damage irrelevant. Record the final condition and geometry of adjusted pieces where required. The aim is not to demand a complicated inventory for every small part, but to preserve enough information to explain the final installed scope and resolve meaningful differences.

Reconcile completion against the accepted map

At handover, compare the final repaired extent, controlled drawing and relevant installation checks with the agreed scope. A purchase receipt establishes delivery, while installation and condition records address another stage. Keep those findings separate. Accessible photographs can show coverage but do not establish every concealed preparation or attachment requirement.

Provide Sanxin with the zoned repair map, item schedule and proposed spare boundary when requesting a quotation. Ask for clear identification and quantities for special pieces as well as standard coverage. If scope changes, reconcile the schedule rather than reusing an obsolete area total. The resulting record supports a practical power-plant repair decision without counting retained, unused or merely delivered ceramic as verified new installation.

Does receiving the ordered ceramic quantity prove that the repair is complete?

No. Reconcile delivery with the accepted repair map, actual installed items and required installation checks. Distinguish retained lining, spares, rejected pieces and adjusted parts. Delivery is one evidence stage rather than proof of installed coverage or concealed-work acceptance.
