A repeating tile pattern can describe much of an elbow while leaving its ends unclear. Both connections still need an identified ceramic termination and relationship to their neighboring passages. For a Sanxin elbow inquiry, ask the layout to show how it is completed at each end. A general ring detail should not be treated as evidence that every final piece, joint and support condition has been resolved for the actual bend.

The controlled drawing should identify the tile arrangement within the bend and the features where that arrangement terminates. A typical section can explain a repeating region without describing every end row. Show the actual connection references and internal passage. Do not assume both ends are identical because the shell diameter is the same. If the layout requires special pieces or an agreed adjustment, identify them in the supply and installation scope. This article provides no tile-sizing or cutting method; it asks for an accepted detail before completion is improvised at site.
Review finished bore, ceramic end position and the next accepted internal surface together. The external flange or connection face is only one reference. A dimensionally acceptable shell can still leave an unresolved internal transition. Keep support, joining and retention information with the actual termination. Do not infer that a narrow or unfamiliar piece is defective solely from its appearance, or that a piece filling the visible gap is qualified because it fits. The responsible technical parties need the defined construction and relevant examination basis for the actual feature.
Clarify whether the elbow is delivered fully lined or whether any defined end work belongs to the site. Identify the associated drawings, required materials and applicable completion records. A commercial line item for one elbow may not explain a split construction boundary. Changes affecting the connection, pressure shell or equipment support remain within the responsible owner design. Ceramic material data cannot close those obligations. If the final row differs from the accepted proposal, record the change and obtain the relevant disposition rather than hide it within a general note that installation is complete.
Imagine a hypothetical elbow drawing showing a typical tile ring but no actual completion against one connection. The quotation includes enough general tiles, yet the final termination is not defined. The buyer should resolve the geometry and supply boundary before ordering or fitting, rather than assume quantity establishes the detail. This is a layout example, not a Sanxin defect. A workshop photograph might later show an accepted solution, but its geometry and applicable revision still need to be recoverable in the record. One favorable end view does not verify the opposite termination.
Provide Sanxin with the complete elbow drawing, both mating sections, duty and any existing end findings. Ask for the actual end-row layout and proposed acceptance scope. At installation, preserve the accessible terminations and completion evidence before connection removes access. Later observations should distinguish local end damage from wear within the repeating bend region without assuming a shared cause. This makes the elbow selection practical: the buyer knows how the offered internal surface ends, which details are supplied and which unresolved interface would otherwise be left to the installation team.
Only if it explicitly represents their actual completion. Show end rows, special pieces, terminations and mating passages, with supply and acceptance responsibilities. Repeating-pattern quantity and external connection fit do not independently resolve the end detail.
