Cement production contains many abrasive transfers, but not every worn component is a useful first location for a ceramic trial. The buyer needs a location where the problem, interfaces and operating record are clear. For a Sanxin inquiry, choosing that location carefully can make the evaluation more informative than starting with the most dramatic failure photograph.

Identify whether each location handles raw material, intermediate product, fuel or finished powder. Describe the particle movement and operating environment. A chute, separator region and conveying bend should not be grouped into one specification solely because they belong to the same production line.
Record the current failure mode and repair history for each candidate. Favor a location with documented gradual wear if the objective is to compare abrasion protection. A component affected by unresolved impact, distortion or process instability may need a different investigation before a material trial can provide a useful answer.
Determine whether production conditions are sufficiently consistent to interpret the trial. Record known changes in feed, throughput and operating settings. A trial does not require perfectly constant operation, but it does need an honest account of the conditions that influence the observed damage.
Avoid choosing a location scheduled for major geometry or equipment changes unless the evaluation can distinguish them. Replacing the lining while altering the entire transfer can be a reasonable engineering project, but it is a weak basis for assigning the outcome to the ceramic material alone.
Select a location where the lining and its interfaces can be examined safely during planned maintenance. Identify the access opening, isolation requirements and handling space. A surface that cannot be inspected may leave critical questions unanswered even if its operating duty is otherwise attractive.
Confirm the support condition, finished passage and attachment requirements. Hot locations need assessment of the full assembly, including any adhesive or rubber. Locations receiving large pieces need a separate impact review. An abrasion-oriented ceramic trial should not be treated as proof that those other requirements are satisfied.
Suppose a hypothetical cement plant has an accessible powder bend with a clear wear track and a transfer landing area with irregular breakage after blockages. The bend might offer a more interpretable first abrasion trial, provided its geometry and attachment are reviewed. The landing area needs further loading diagnosis before copying the same proposal.
This is a trial-selection example, not a claim about an actual plant. The chosen component should have a documented initial state and agreed inspection criteria. Observations must include joints, edges and attachment condition rather than only the remaining ceramic face.
Send Sanxin the candidate drawing, material description, failure photographs and operating record. State what the trial is intended to resolve and which changes are permitted. Ask for the assembly details and installation checks needed to make the comparison meaningful.
Before expanding to other cement duties, compare their loading, temperature, support and maintenance access with the trial. A favorable result in one powder transfer does not automatically qualify a hot component or a struck landing zone. Keep the evidence attached to the specific duty so that further purchasing decisions retain a clear engineering basis.
Choose a location with a defined wear mechanism, suitable assembly design, safe inspection access and a usable operating record. The most severe-looking damage is not necessarily the location that will provide the clearest comparison.
